Our excursion will explore the Heyfield Wetlands. This is an excellent example of an area that was called ‘the swamp’ and had multiple uses before being converted to wetland containing numerous variety of water birds as well as passerine and other birds. Meet at the Visitor Information Center. Bring your binoculars, lunch and water.
