To Protect and Enjoy

We are a group of people who are interested in nature, natural history and conservation, and like to meet up for talks and excursions in the Latrobe Valley and surrounding areas, and spring and summer camps further afield in Victoria.

Visitors are very welcome at Club activities or you can support the group by becoming a member.

Please do not bring pets on our excursions. Thank you for your consideration.

Please note - our excursions will go ahead unless the authorities declare Catastrophic Fire Danger Rating. If this occurs the excursion will automatically be cancelled.

This year, the Latrobe Valley Field Naturalists mark their 65th anniversary. As part of our celebrations, we would like to share our enthusiasm for nature with the wider community by exhibiting photographs and stories covering flora, fauna and landscapes in Gippsland taken by our members.

We hope to share our enjoyment and care of the natural world around us. Our aim is to inspire people of all ages, backgrounds and abilities to appreciate and learn about nature, to explore our local parks and reserves, and experience the health benefits of being out in the bush.

All are welcome. We hope to see you there.
